We started Flatbuch because finding a home in Berlin shouldn't feel like a second job. Our mission is to connect people with spaces where they can thrive — quickly, transparently, and fairly.
Our Story
Flatbuch was born in 2024 out of a shared frustration. Our founders — themselves expats and long-time Berliners — watched friends, colleagues, and newcomers struggle with an opaque, fragmented housing market. Scam listings, unresponsive landlords, and an overwhelming number of platforms made the process unnecessarily painful.
We set out to build something different: a single, curated platform where every listing is verified, every landlord is vetted, and every tenant gets a fair shot. Today we serve thousands of people across Berlin, from students arriving for their first semester to families putting down roots.
Based in Kreuzberg, we're a small team with big ambitions — and we're just getting started.
